At last week’s National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) International Christian Media Convention in Dallas, Texas, NRB President & CEO Troy A. Miller conducted several in-person interviews.

Live from the NRB 2025 Exhibit Hall, Miller joined Todd Starnes on his show to discuss the role of Christian communicators in the public square and to evaluate the atmosphere at the Convention.

“There’s a real sense of hope that we’re going to get this country back on the right track,” Miller said. “Christian broadcasters are going to play a major role in that, so they have flocked here to find out what’s going on—the latest innovation, the latest of what we’re hearing out of Washington, how to get involved, and how to get started. …The mood is just electric.”

Live in Dallas, Texas at the 2025 NRB Convention, Miller joined Chris Stigall on his Salem News show about the impact of the faith community in broadcasting.

“This is the largest gathering of Christian content producers anywhere in the world,” Miller said. “It’s the one time that all of these folks—whether you’re a podcaster, radio broadcaster, television, book publisher, filmmaker, you name it, a church streaming its service—you’re here because you want to know what’s going on in this industry and you want to know how to reach people for the Gospel better than you did last year.”

For an interview recorded in the Exhibit Hall at NRB 2025, Miller joined Jenna Ellis on the American Family Radio podcast “On Demand” to discuss the future of religious freedom under the new presidential administration and beyond.

“As much as the administration does, someday they will go away,” Miller said. “What they’re going to do for us is put us in a favorable operating environment, but they’re not going to change the hearts and minds of people. The battle is not over as Christian communicators. The battle has just begun. We just got a level playing field. Now it’s time for us to get on offense, to expand Christian media, not to retract it, not to fall back. … This is a time to get supercharged, to get out there and share the Gospel.”

Miller joined Judge Brown of TCT News to discuss the 2025 NRB Convention and the association’s ongoing initiatives and current areas of focus.

“This is the golden age of communications,” Miller said. “Nowhere else in human history could you be carrying your phone and instantly communicate with anyone around the world. It’s a great time to proclaim the Gospel.

Miller joined Gene Bailey on “FlashPoint” to spotlight the 2025 NRB Convention and discuss the evolving media landscape under the new presidential administration, which recently announced that the White House will control press pool access to the Oval Office.

“We know that the legacy media, the mainstream media, they are for the most part just talking points for their ideology,” Miller said. “People have relied more and more on Christian media. … We know a number of our members are going to have access to that White House press room, and it’s exciting.”

Miller joined Stacy Washington on her Salem News show to discuss the “AM for Every Vehicle Act.”

“The two top genres on AM radio are conservative talk and Christian talk and teach,” Miller said. “That’s a big issue. But the other issue behind all of it, is who’s going to control the information in the dash. … And that’s why we want AM radio to stay in the dash. This is a solution for people to freely get the information they want.”

Miller also discussed the topic of AM radio with Andrew Wilkow on his Salem News show.

“It’s really about the control of the dash,” Miller said. “For the auto companies, there’s a huge amount of revenue to be made by controlling the screen in your car.”
