On Friday, March 15, Troy A. Miller, President & CEO of the National Religious Broadcasters (NRB), spoke with Pelle Neroth Taylor of TNT Radio to talk about Senate majority leader Chuck Schumer’s recent criticisms of the state of Israel.

“Israel has done its best to try to limit as many other civilian casualties as possible,” Miller said. “Israel has a right to defend itself until this war is finished.”

They also touched on the topics of the separation between church and state and Christian discrimination in the public sector.

“Everybody holds a view of the world, some lens that they’re looking at the world through,” Miller said. “And they’re playing that morality out in their decision making. So why is religion somehow not allowed to do that?”

On Monday, March 18, Miller joined Andrew Wilkow of Salem News to discuss religious broadcasters’ involvement and reporting on the situation in Israel.

“I think religious broadcasters are the only place you can find out the truth of what’s going on in Israel,” Miller said. “The Christian broadcasters that we work with now have not wavered in their support at all for Israel.”

On Tuesday, March 19, Miller spoke with Perry Atkinson on “Focus Today TV” (theDove) to discuss the extent and ability that Christians have for the spread of the Gospel in the modern day.

“We live in a time when the tools available to us not only help us reach our local communities but can help us reach around the world as well,” Miller said. “The Gospel goes forth; the power is in the message. Christians are doing a great job of using the media.

In an interview with the The Daily Signal at the 2024 NRB Convention in February, Mike Farris, NRB General Counsel, discussed the Southern Poverty Law Center and their recent lawsuits. The episode aired March 20 on the Daily Signal Podcast.

“They don’t care about rights. They don’t care about America,” Farris said. “They care about using the progressive ideology to raise a ton of money and spend it on themselves. But they’re using it by terrorist tactics. You know, terrorist tactics wrapped in a little bit of velvet.”
