Last weekend, Troy A. Miller, President and CEO of the National Religious Broadcasters (NRB), was headlined in several media releases.

On June 7, Miller authored an opinion piece for Newsmax on the critical emergency communications role of AM radio, especially during extreme weather seasons. He wrote about the legislative proposal moving through the House and Senate which would ensure that all vehicles manufactured or imported to the United States maintain AM radio capabilities.

“AM radio is a time-tested tool with proven resilience and effectiveness in times of emergency,” Miller wrote. “We at the National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) are urging Congress to act swiftly to ensure that AM radio remains in the auto dashboard as a lifesaving emergency resource and a messenger of stability and calm in the storm.”

Also on June 7, Miller joined Stacy Washington on her Salem News Channel show to discuss the status of the Israel-Hamas war, following Miller’s visit to Israel last month.

“In the briefings that we got, [government and military officials] really think there are just 3 or 4 brigades left in Hamas,” Miller said. “The one thing that we heard from people, pretty much across the board there, is the support for Israel to finish this operation and to finally put Hamas out of business. … There’s really one solution for Israel, and that’s to make sure that Hamas can never do another October 7th.”

On June 9, Fox News Digital shared a faith leader reflection featuring Miller, in which he encouraged Christian communicators to speak boldly, without compromise.

“Our highest purpose is to participate in God’s work of extending grace to more and more people for the glory of God,” Miller said. “Our Lord is holding together the family of faith. Our mission is to believe, to speak, and to carry the heritage of faith to all generations.”
