On Friday, February 2, Troy A. Miller, NRB President & CEO, joined Frank Gaffney on his show “Securing America.” They discussed the Biden administration’s increased hostility toward Israel, especially given the demands on the President from his constituents to cut ties with Israel completely.
“Israel enjoys a tremendous amount of support from the Christian evangelical community,” Miller said. “It’s the far-left liberal progressives that are putting the pressure on the Biden administration to sever its support for Israel and to bring a harsher condemnation. It’s such a small portion of the U.S. population here, yet they have such a loud voice in the White House.”
Gaffney and Miller also discussed weaponization of government and hostility toward religious expression. For 80 years, NRB has been advocating for Christian media organizations to maintain access to media platforms and compete in the communications marketplace.
“We work on Capitol Hill, with mainstream media, and a lot in the corporate boardrooms to make sure that Christians, whatever God’s called you to do—whether it’s your church, a radio program, television program—you can do it in the public space today,” Miller said.
On Wednesday, February 7, in a feature on “Stacy Washington NOW,” Miller discussed the Presidential Forum at the 2024 NRB International Christian Media Convention.
NRB invited all eligible candidates from both major parties to participate. 45th President of the United States Donald J. Trump accepted NRB’s invitation and will address the NRB Convention as part of the NRB Presidential Forum on Thursday, February 22.
“It’s a very important race, I think, for Christians in general and for a lot of us in Christian communications, because we’ve been facing a pretty big onslaught of cancel culture, especially with social media companies,” Miller said.
