Troy A. Miller, president & CEO of the National Religious Broadcasters (NRB), recently spoke with Newsmax hosts Sharla McBride and Jon Glasgow about Miller’s latest op-ed looking at the extent to which Christian voters influenced the presidential election and what issues drove them to the polls.
“Christians care about the foreign policy of this country,” Miller said. “They care about the border. They care greatly about the economy. Christians are some of the greatest givers in charity across this country, and when the economy is tough, charity is tough as well.”

Miller also spoke with Rob Astorino on Newsmax 2 about voting turnout by evangelical Christians in 2024 compared to previous elections.
“We saw a rise in Christian and conservative broadcasters [who] focused on the issues that were important to Christians,” Miller said. “And that had a major impact in getting those voices out, through shows that reach the right people.”

Joining hosts Evelyn Li and Kevin Hogan on NTD News, Miller discussed the Texas State Board of Education’s recent decision to allow curriculum that includes Bible teachings in public grade schools for students from kindergarten through fifth grade.
“What this is going to do for students is give them a lot of context for some of the principles that our country was founded upon,” Miller said. “The Founding Fathers relied heavily on New Testament and Old Testament Scriptures. . . . These are not evangelistic, doctrinal lessons trying to push one religion over another religion.”
