In a new, must-read op-ed published by the Daily Caller, NRB president & CEO Troy A. Miller commends religious broadcasters for “fearless,” “independent” analysis and insight, and calls on Christian voters to “be alert and engaged.”

“As Americans, we are the blessed stewards of a temporal home built on a foundation of faith to the best of its founders’ abilities,” Miller writes. “To be alert and engaged is just the beginning; we must do everything in our power to save America for the glory of God.”

Miller recently joined host Steve Lance on NTD’s “Capitol Report” to discuss the decline in charitable giving in the nation overall and among Evangelical Christians, as well as how donations may be affected by the upcoming election.

“The shape of the economy is really starting to affect people’s discretionary giving,” Miller said. “And there are less people reading their Bibles today, less people attending churches today. So those two things together, along with society pushing a secular message, I think that’s hurting giving to the churches.”

Miller also joined Todd Starnes on his show to discuss the emerging political group “Evangelicals for Harris.”

“They don’t really uphold the principles that we uphold to in the Scriptures,” Miller said. “This is the kind of deception we’ve seen from the left and from the progressives—this twisting and distorting of reality, the truth. … There aren’t enough pastors or Christians who … talk about this election and what the impact is going to be to Evangelicals across this country.”
