On Wednesday, April 3, Troy A. Miller, President & CEO of the National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) joined John Solomon and Amanda Head of Just the News to discuss key cultural events of last week, including the United Nations resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. Notably, the Biden administration declined to veto the resolution, despite America’s historic support and solidarity with Israel.

“The only message out of America should be Hamas’s unconditional surrender and the immediate release and return of the hostages,” Miller said.

They also talked about Miller’s upcoming solidarity trip to Israel in May with other Christian leaders to visit affected areas and peoples, receive firsthand briefings by the Israeli government and officials, meet with first responders, and more.

“We’ll meet with a number of officials within the Israel government to let them know that the support amongst Christians, the Christian community, and especially in NRB’s membership and Christian broadcasters, is strong,” Miller said. “We are standing by Israel.”

They discussed Biden’s proclamation on Easter declaring a “Transgender Day of Visibility.”

“Christians across this country continued to celebrate Easter the way we have for 2000 years,” Miller said. “We believe that Christ was raised from the dead, and that was celebrated on Sunday, regardless of what this administration did.”
