Troy A. Miller, NRB president & CEO, joined Eden Gordon Hill on her show “The All-American Book Club” to discuss the current initiatives of NRB, including the fight to preserve AM radio in the auto dash as the association works for Christian protections in the public square. They also discussed some of Miller’s career and faith background and how that affects his leadership today.
“I understand the impact that Christian television, radio, communications, and media can make to people,” Miller said. “That’s one of the reasons I’m so passionate about NRB’s mission—to keep the airwaves open for Christian communicators.”

Mike Farris, NRB general counsel, joined Dr. Tim Clinton on the WAVA 105.1 show “The Drive Home” to discuss the foundational principles of religious liberty and First Amendment rights in our country.
“The government has no jurisdiction over the heart, soul, and mind of man,” Farris said. “That’s the principle we have to understand. That means religious freedom is for everybody. Free speech is for everybody, not just people we agree with. Only a Christian worldview has ever brought that into existence.”

Miller joined Dr. Greg Seltz on “The Drive Home” to discuss the success of the NRB 2025 Convention, some of NRB’s current initiatives, as well as favorable policies for religious broadcasters enacted by the new presidential administration.
“The FCC has been very helpful to us,” Miller said. “But if we sat back and expect the government is going fix all the problems, four years from now, we’re going to end up right where we were. … Somebody’s worldview is going to decide the policies, the spending, and the laws. That’s why it’s so important for us to be active in the public square.”
