One of the most important investments you can make in 2020 is to make the most of the information you already have – and fill in whatever gaps exist. Each year, NRB’s Christian Media Convention delivers a way to do that seamlessly.

There will be more than 80 speakers at the upcoming 2020 Convention in Nashville who lead various sessions covering everything from high-level topics to nitty-gritty “how-to” tips. The three main types of sessions are:

  • Forums, where the “best of the best” in communications, technology, content, production, and policy will discuss latest developments and trends, and how they are or will be impacting the work of Christian communicators;
  • Talks, where speakers from various industry areas – Church Media, Digital Media, Film, International, Radio, and TV – will present valuable insights for those in media and ministry;
  • Workshops, where speakers will provide information, tips, and new ideas that attendees will be able to immediately implement in order to advance their endeavors.

Forum speakers include William Barr, Attorney General of the United States; Jay Sekulow, Chief Counsel of the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ); Allie Stuckey, Host of Relatable; Andrew Brunson, the U.S. pastor who was unjustly imprisoned in Turkey for nearly two years before his release in October 2018; Gov. Mike Huckabee, Host of Huckabee; and more.

Talks include sessions such as “A 2020 Vision for Christian Radio,” “Wisdom for Effective Communication,” “The Future of Christian Film,” “Critical Insights for Leading Creative People,” “Podcasting,” “Leadership in a Digital Age,” “Creating the Right Content for the Right Audience,” and more.

Workshop topics include “Demystifying Facebook Audiences,” “How to Make an Internal/External Digital Media Communication Plan,” “Subject Lines: 5 Mental Levers that Anyone Can Use to Get More Opens and Donations,” “How the New Emerging Broadcast Standard Impacts Christian TV,” “Practical Principles for Dealing with Negative Backlash,” and more.
