The media company behind the KSBJ radio station has announced an organizational name change.
Formerly known as the KSBJ Educational Foundation, the media company is now Hope Media Group.
According to the organization, the new overarching ministry name positions it for a larger footprint in and beyond Houston. It allows for strategic opportunities in the future such as expanding with additional brands and media focused on connecting people more deeply to God.
“We are very excited because this organizational name change is significant on several levels,” said CEO Joe Paulo in a press release. “The new name, Hope Media Group symbolizes our ongoing transition from what was once a single Houston-focused FM radio station to a multi-faceted media organization whose reach and impact will continue to grow beyond southeast Texas.
“And,” he added, “it positions us for even more future growth while instantly communicating why we exist.”
Presently the company features multiple brands including the radio station KSBJ, NGEN Radio, HOPE ON DEMAND, and Special Event – the associated live event ministry.
The organization’s name change to Hope Media Group does not affect the KSBJ radio station name, which Houstonians have come to know and love.
However, the company said these organizational changes bring an even greater focus to the organization as a whole, sharing the kind of hope that is real, permanent, and found in Jesus.
