The election is just days away, with significant biblical worldview implications on the ballot and the troubling potential for millions of evangelicals to skip the ballot box on November 5. NRB has taken up the “get out the vote” mantle and worked tirelessly to encourage evangelicals to cast their vote in this election—which cannot afford inaction. Here are media highlights of that effort.
NRB has driven conversation surrounding evangelical voting through a series of opinion articles featured in Fox News Opinion, The Daily Caller, and Newsmax, written by NRB president & CEO Troy A. Miller and vice president of public policy & communications Noelle Huizenga.
In a recent interview with Steve Lance of NTD News, Miller said: “Politics is driving the culture—it’s no longer following the culture, so if you’re a Christian and you want to look at who’s going to govern you and decide the future of policies that are going to affect your life and the morals and values that you hold dear, … you need to be involved in this process—the right to elect the officials who will govern over us.”
In Miller’s latest article in Fox News Opinion, he states…”Every Christian has a moral and ethical duty to participate in this election for 3 main reasons.”

In an opinion article published in The Daily Caller, Miller wrote: “Evangelical Christians must examine candidates’ records on immigration, pro-family policies, religious freedom, national security, federal spending, economic wellbeing, parental rights, conscience protections, America’s support for Israel and the traditional values we cherish as people of faith.”

In an opinion article published in Newsmax, Huizenga wrote that women of faith must turn out to vote as “salt and light.” Further, “The 47th president of the United States will be empowered to advance policies that dignify women or policies that harm them,” Huizenga writes. “Women of faith must not stay home [on November 5].”

In an opinion article published in The Daily Caller, Huizenga wrote that “Bad policy hurts women and robs them of choice. The voices of compassionate, enlightened individuals and those who truly honor women must be heard at the ballot box on November 5.”

In an effort to activate Christian voters far and wide, NRB also launched a radio PSA campaign, partnering with prominent faith leaders who recorded radio spots encouraging Christians to exercise their civic duty and vote. These PSAs are available for download here and stations are invited to air these messages through November, 5th 2024.
“We are proud to partner with respected faith leaders to produce radio spots that encourage and energize Christians to exercise their right and responsibility to vote,” said Troy A. Miller, NRB president & CEO. “In these final days before the election, we want Christian voters to receive clear and persuasive reminders that their vote will make a difference for the future of faith and freedom in America.”
NRB reminds its members and all prospective Christian voters that the most important way to influence and participate in the life of our nation in this unique moment is to vote by November 5.
As Miller wrote October 10, “Christian presence and participation is critical to preserving our nation for the glory of God.”
