The NRB International Christian Media Convention is a place of cross-cultural connection for Christian communicators from every corner of the globe. As NRB prepares to celebrate its 80th anniversary at NRB 2024, there has never been a more exciting time to experience the international impact of the NRB Convention.
NRB is privileged to welcome more and more international attendees every year. In 2023, 254 representatives of 47 countries were among the 4200 attendees that gathered in Orlando, Fla., with fifteen exhibitors from countries such as Canada, China, Greece, India, Israel, and the Republic of Korea presenting multilingual ministry and media tools. In 2022, attendees from 33 countries gathered in Nashville, Tenn., for a total of 119 international attendees. NRB 2022 welcomed international exhibitors representing Brazil, Canada, Greece, Israel, the Republic of Korea, and Switzerland.
The annual Great Commission Forum provides a special opportunity for all Christian communicators to gain insights into the worldwide reach of Christian media. The Great Commission Reception, held just prior to the Great Commission Forum, is an opportunity to form personal connections with international colleagues. At NRB 2024, the Great Commission Forum, scheduled for Tuesday, February 20, will feature Andrew Palau and Bishop Sunday Onuoha.
Andrew Palau is the son of Luis Palau and an evangelist for Luis Palau Association. For more than 25 years, Andrew Palau has shared the Good News of Jesus Christ with millions of individuals around the world through festivals, digital media, and the printed word. In his role as evangelist for the Palau Association, he has been instrumental in building the Luis Palau Association model for citywide evangelistic outreach to every sector of society. He has led hundreds of citywide campaigns on six continents.
Bishop Sunday is the founder and president of Vision Africa Ministries. Committing his life to Christian service at the young age of 14, Sunday entered ministry in the Methodist Church of Nigeria in 1983. In 1995 he completed his master’s and doctorate degrees at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. His doctoral thesis, inspired by a vision from God, explored how a partnership between Americans and Africans could bring hope to African people through practical service. Today, Vision Africa brings that hope to millions through its radio station, a 50-bed hospital opening soon, and many other ministries dedicated to sharing God’s love ever more widely.
The 2024 Great Commission Forum is sponsored by LifeWise Academy and Christian Care Ministry. LifeWise Academy is a non-profit ministry that offers Bible education during school hours to over 320 public schools across the U.S., benefiting nearly 35,000 students since its launch in 2019. Christian Care Ministry seeks to connect individuals to a Christ-centered community wellness experience rooted in faith, prayer, and personal responsibility through a Medi-Share program, which allows Christians to mutually share their daily burdens.
If you or your organization has international operations or interests, you are invited to attend the Great Commission Reception for a time of fellowship to build, network with, and reinforce global connections. This reception will take place immediately prior to the Great Commission Forum.
As anticipation builds for NRB 2024 (February 20-23, 2024, at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, Tenn.), all attendees are encouraged to finalize the details of their trip, including visa arrangements and hotel reservations, as soon as possible.
