March for Israel

November 14, 2023, 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. (Gates open at 10:00am)
National Mall, Washington, D.C.

The Jewish Federations of North America and the Conference of Presidents of Major Jewish Organizations are leading an historic march on the National Mall on Tuesday, November 14, to stand in solidarity with Israel, combat the global rise in antisemitism, and urge the release of hostages held by Hamas in Gaza.

The Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM), an NRB partner, has offered to sponsor buses for NRB member and partner organizations traveling to attend the March for Israel.

The process is simple:

  • Your organization can organize buses for the rally in DC.
  • CAM will reimburse your organization for the expenses.
  • CAM will coordinate your arrival with the rally organizers.

NRB members can contact yigal@combatantisemitism.org and shira@combatantisemitism.org regarding travel coordination and reimbursement.

NRB encourages its members to participate in the march to stand in solidarity with Israel and the American Jewish community. For general questions about this event, please email MarchForIsrael@JFNA.org.

Weekend of Prayer for Zion’s Sake

November 17-19, 2023
Local participation

Jewish and Christian community leaders are forming a historic prayer partnership over the weekend of November 17-19, when congregations across the United States and around the world will intercede on behalf of Israel and pray for the release of more than 240 hostages still being held by Hamas.

Church leaders are invited to commit your congregation to a time of prayer during your services for Israel and the release of the hostages according to Isaiah 62:1: “For Zion’s sake I will not hold My peace.” As a pastor or Christian leader, consider strengthening community relationships by contacting your local synagogue and letting them know that you and your church are praying for Israel and the release of the hostages during the Weekend of Prayer.

Sign up to participate in the Weekend of Prayer for Zion’s Sake here and find helpful resources such as flyers, graphics, prayer points, sample prayers, and facts sheets here.

During Israel’s time of crisis, NRB encourages Christian leaders to partner with trusted coalitions such as ACLI and prayerfully pursue opportunities to stand with your local Jewish community at rallies or vigils and on social media.
