Pastor James Ward has launched a new podcast, “Cultural Conversations,” that aims to apply a Christian worldview to contemporary societal challenges.
Ward was inspired to launch the podcast to empower listeners “to be comfortable having uncomfortable conversations,” he said. “For too long, it seems that unbelievers have been leading conversations in society, media, and academia, while attempting to cancel other viewpoints that don’t align with theirs.”
The podcast emphasizes the importance of a “Zero Victim mindset,” encouraging believers to engage in dialogue without resorting to “non-Biblical, socio-political ideologies.”
On his program, Ward emphasizes themes of addressing challenges proactively, setting a framework for healing the past, and embracing God’s will for a life of purpose and abundance through faith, drawing from themes in his book Zero Victim: Overcoming Injustice With a New Attitude. Recent episodes have welcomed Senator Tim Scott (R-SC), author Tom Freiling, and pastor Mark Daniel as guests.
“As Christian communicators, we must leverage every possible tool and resource to deliver the Gospel to a generation living in spiritual darkness,” Ward said of his latest media endeavor.
