During one of NRB President & CEO Troy A. Miller’s regular Israel visits last month, Miller came face to face with the great divide of worldviews amidst the ongoing information war.
“It’s important for Christians to understand that we’re in this global battle together for the Judeo-Christian worldview versus a progressive, secular, socialist worldview,” Miller said. “Israel and the U.S. are closer tied to that fight than anyone else around the world.”
In efforts to continue strengthening Christian–Jewish relations and combat religious persecution, Miller met with top Israeli officials and diplomats, including ambassador Mike Hucakbee; Yossi Dagan, governor of Samaria; Yisrael Ganz, governor of Binyamin Regional Council; the office of President Herzog; and the Office of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
“In the past, we have focused on support for fighting antisemitism and fighting for Israel’s right to exist,” Miller said, “but Israel’s being involved in the Christian persecution fight is something new.”
During his trip in November 2025, Miller said Israeli leaders were “somewhat shocked” to learn about global Christian persecution. In April, Israel appointed Arab Christian George Deek as its first Special Envoy to the Christian World. Miller met Deek during the trip.
“Deek is an incredible diplomat,” Miller said. “The establishment of the new envoy shows the commitment to religious freedom within the borders of Israel, but also Israel’s commitment to fighting for religious freedom around the globe.”
At their request, Miller also briefed the Foreign Minister’s Office on global Christian persecution.
Other meetings included those with Israel’s Chief Rabbi, Hacham David Yosef, and members of the Orthodox Religious Community and the Messianic Jewish Community. Miller also sat down with CBN, Israel Now News, The Media Line, and several Jerusalem News Syndicate (JNS) programs.

At the three-day Jerusalem Summit, hosted by the International Christian Embassy, Jerusalem (ICEJ), Miller joined Christian leaders from around the world in a series of lectures and conversations aimed at equipping the church to engage in conversations about Israel with biblical clarity.
Miller spoke at the summit about the information war driving Judeo-Christian values to the sidelines.
“Confusion has become a weapon,” Miller said in his remarks. “The goal of modern propaganda is often not to convince people of one particular lie. It is to convince them that truth itself cannot be known.”
Just as Israel engages in defense on land, air, and sea, Miller believes the nation must take a stand on digital platforms to win the information war. Following the Oct. 7 attack, deceitful actors and mainline personalities flooded feeds with deepfake videos, antisemitic conspiracy theories, and false narratives. While these attacks target Israel, they threaten the credibility of Judeo-Christian values at large, demanding a united, truth-filled response from Christians and Jews alike.
“Israel needs creators, not just spokespeople; storytellers, not just diplomats; digital missionaries for truth, not just press offices,” Miller told the ICEJ audience. “And Christians must help that effort because ultimately this is not just about Israel — it is about whether free societies can still recognize truth.”
Many IDF soldiers were wounded and killed in Hezbollah attacks while Miller was in Israel. In the face of constant threat and attacks from the enemies that surround them, Miller was overcome by the resilience of the Jewish people.
“They realize that you just have to move on,” Miller said. “You’re hopeful that you could live in peace and hopeful that you can someday not worry about these things, but you can’t let it control your life.”
Miller was invited to participate in several panels at the 2026 JNS International Policy Summit in Jerusalem, which brought together more than 200 government officials and cultural leaders.
“Since October 7, we have watched an information war unfold alongside the physical one,” Miller said. “Christians cannot be spectators in that fight. Standing with Israel and standing for truth are the same commitment.”
The three-day gathering focused on the most urgent challenges facing Israel and the Jewish people, including U.S.-Israel relations, the war with Iran, Israel’s legal and diplomatic standing, the global surge in antisemitism following October 7, and the expanding role of both Christian support for Israel and vice versa.
Throughout the trip, Miller invited Jewish and Christian leaders to stand united in their shared value system: belief in the Creator, freedom of conscience, and Western morality, all rooted in Jewish and Christian faiths.
As propaganda continues to erode truth, Miller’s words moved off the stage and into real partnership, as Jewish and Christian leaders lock arms in a global clash of worldviews.
