Pastor, teacher, and author Dr. Tony Evans will speak at the Closing Gala during Proclaim 19, the NRB International Christian Media Convention taking place March 26-29 in Anaheim, California.
NRB’s annual Convention is the largest nationally and internationally recognized event dedicated solely to the field of Christian communications. Its dynamic Exposition consists of around 200 organizations and is an active marketplace for those seeking to enhance their media and ministry efforts.
“It is an honor to have Dr. Evans join us at Proclaim 19 as NRB celebrates its 75th anniversary,” said Troy Miller, NRB’s executive vice president & COO. “He has long been one of my heroes in the faith. He is an extraordinarily gifted expositor and regarded by so many as a pastor of pastors and a father in the faith. We are blessed to have him with us, and Convention attendees will be blessed to hear from him.”
Evans has served as the senior pastor of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas for more than 40 years, witnessing its growth from ten people in 1976 to now more than 10,000 congregants with more than 100 ministries.
Evans also serves as president of The Urban Alternative, a national ministry that seeks to restore hope and transform lives through the proclamation and the application of the Word of God. His daily radio broadcast, The Alternative with Dr. Tony Evans, can be heard on more than 1,300 radio outlets throughout the United States and in more than 130 countries.
In addition, Evans has authored more than 100 books, booklets, and Bible studies, including his legacy work, Oneness Embraced, as well as his vision work, The Kingdom Agenda.
At Proclaim 19, Evans will be among the more than 80 speakers, including Greg Laurie, John MacArthur, Joni Eareckson Tada, Priscilla Shirer, Rick Warren, Ambassador Sam Brownback, DeVon Franklin, Alex Kendrick, and Jon and Andy Erwin, among many others. The emcees of the Convention will be twin brothers, authors, and entrepreneurs David and Jason Benham.
