Director Dallas Jenkins Featured as Speaker, Panelist to Discuss Series
GRAPEVINE, Texas (NRB) – “The Chosen,“ a multi-season series about the life of Jesus Christ and the largest crowd funded media project of all time, produced by VidAngel Studios, has agreed to be a major sponsor of the 2021 NRB Convention June 21-24 at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas.
Director, Dallas Jenkins, will be a speaker and featured items from the set of “The Chosen,” including Peter’s boat and a campsite will be on display outside the exhibit hall.
“The Chosen,” profiled in outlets such as The New York Times, has translated into 50 languages and counting, is consistently ranked in the top 50 entertainment apps on iOS and Android. The series is free to watch on the app that connects directly to streaming devices with no fee or subscription necessary. Season one is also available on YouTube and Fox Nation.
Jenkins, son of celebrated “Left Behind” author Jerry Jenkins and director and producer of over a dozen feature and short films, will speak at a breakout session Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. on, A Case Study on How to Reach a Billion People: The Story and Formula of ‘The Chosen’ and participate in a special Q&A in the theater on the exhibit hall floor.

VidAngel, the family-friendly streaming app and original content studio, is producing a total of seven seasons of “The Chosen. Seasons one and two are now fully funded, and the company is now fundraising for Season three.

Dallas Jenkins, son of celebrated Left Behind author Jerry Jenkins. Jenkins first produced the independent feature Hometown Legend at the age of 25 and shepherded it to distribution by Warner Brothers.
