MEDIAlliance International Hosts Online Event with Dr. Jack Graham and Governor Mike Huckabee

MEDIAlliance International went global in its recent online event to share the scope of the media training and encouragement ministry. “The Light Shines” was presented as a live online television special, hosted by ministry president Dr. Ron Harris. Harris was live in Dallas, Texas, and  his co-host, Cristina Olariu of Radio Voice of the Gospel (RVE) was live in Romania. During the hour-long program, fifteen MEDIAlliance ministry partners from all over the world checked in to share about their ministry and the help they receive from MEDIAlliance.

Joining Ron Harris on the program were Governor Mike Huckabee of the TBN TV show “Huckabee,” and Dr. Jack Graham, pastor of Prestonwood Baptist Church. The guests talked about the power of media and its importance in sharing the Gospel today.

Two couples were presented the Global Impact Award for their long-time support of the international media training of MEDIAlliance, including NRB members Stuart and Nancy Epperson.

“Like many other ministries, MEDIAlliance looked for a way in these pandemic days to tell the ministry story effectively,” said Dr. Harris. “We felt using media to its fullest with a live global program was a great example for others to follow.”

Harris also praised the help of Prestonwood Baptist’s media team, led by Bryan Bailey, for their help in the production, which included the use of their PowerPoint studios for the live program. Additionally, MEDIAlliance was greatly helped by the ministry’s new Vice President for Communications, Kyle Gilbert.

MEDIAlliance International is in its eighth year of international media training, serving Christian media leaders in over 40 countries on five continents. Dr. Ron Harris, founder and president, is also currently serving as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for NRB.
