Phil Cooke, co-founder with Kathleen Cooke of Cooke Pictures in Los Angeles and a working producer in Hollywood with a Ph.D. in Theology, recently announced a rebranding of his company to Cooke Media Group to more accurately represent the company’s services and its team of professionals.
The name change also reflects an addition to their wheelhouse of services, offering publishing support to help authors create, publish, and market their work.
“Our purpose has always been to help others share their messages to a larger audience,” said Cooke, who has guided many of the most successful and effective churches, media ministries, and nonprofits of the last 30 years.
“But what our team does is so much more than what happens behind a camera,” he continued in a press release, “so we felt it was time to change our name to reflect the breadth of what we do.”
According to Cooke, the initial focus for the company, originally launched in 1991, was television and film production, producing prime time television specials, feature documentaries, and major advertising campaigns. More recently, the company’s team of experts has expanded to coach and consult Christian leaders and innovators on church and ministry communication in a digital era, live streaming, growth strategies, website development, short videos, and print publishing.
“Over the years, Phil Cooke and his media team have made a significant difference in our ability to reach the world with a message of hope,” said Jack Graham, a long-term client of Cooke Media Group who pastors Prestonwood Church in Dallas and founded PowerPoint Media Ministries.
