The Kentucky Travel Industry Association has presented an award for excellence in marketing to “Ark Encounter,” the immersive Noah’s ark experience presented in Williamstown, Kentucky, by Answers in Genesis—a valued NRB member since 1994.
“NRB congratulates Ark Encounter on receiving a Traverse Award for Excellence in Tourism Marketing from the Kentucky Travel Industry Association,” said Troy Miller, NRB CEO. “Answers in Genesis is leading the way in top-quality Christian programming and advertising in the tourism space, and this prestigious award attests to their impact.”
Ark Encounter ranks as one of the most-visited tourist attractions in the state. Answers in Genesis promoted the attraction with ads aired on major networks nationwide featuring a family of giraffes experiencing the Noah’s ark replica.
“Constructed according to the dimensions given in Genesis 6, the Ark is 510 feet long, making it the largest freestanding, timber-frame structure in the world,” the Answers in Genesis website explains. This month, the Ark will once again host free Christmas programs, including a Christmas lights display, carol sing-alongs, and live animal encounters.
For those attending NRB Convention 2022, NRB is pleased to share that Answers in Genesis founder and CEO Ken Ham will participate as a speaker at the Closing Gala. Ken Ham formerly served as a board member at NRB.
