2020 Winners of iNRB’s 24-Hour Audio, News, Film Competitions Announced

NRB | March 19, 2020 | NRB News

Winners of the 24-Hour Audio, News, and Film Challenges were announced recently and recognized for producing the best audio, news, and film pieces, respectively, over a 24-hour period during the NRB 2020 Christian Media Convention in Nashville, Tennessee.

“Everyone wants success, but only those who go that extra mile and put in all that effort achieve success and excellence,” said Dr. Shur Gopal, Chair of NRB’s Intercollegiate (iNRB) Standing Committee. “Each of the iNRB awardees know that hard work really pays off, and I commend every one of them.

“Congratulations on your fabulous victory,” he added. “You deserve it every bit. Aim for the stars!”

For 24 hours, students worked in teams to generate their own unique entry based on a theme, line of dialogue, or prop provided at the start of the contest. In the end, each team produced either a 2-3 minute audio production (Audio Challenge), an original news segment (News Challenge), or an original short narrative film between 3-5 minutes (Film Challenge). Prizes were awarded to the top teams for each challenge.
