Manassas, VA – WMBW, a Moody Bible Institute owned and operated station in Chattanooga—serving southeast Tennessee, northeast Alabama, northwest Georgia and western North Carolina—will receive the prestigious NRB Station of the Year Award (Medium/Small Market) during the February 27th Radio Reception at the NRB Convention & Exposition.

“God has used WMBW to help their listeners see and meet the needs of the hungry, homeless, and hurting,” said NRB President & CEO Dr. Frank Wright.  “Although their staff may be serving in a small market, their big hearts and their big God have enabled them to achieve amazing results.”

The radio ministry has a staff of five who are committed to serving the community, encouraging believers, supporting the work of the church, and providing opportunities for listeners to be actively involved in the work of the Kingdom through a number of community ministry opportunities.  It is through these ministry opportunities that listeners are encouraged to Think Biblically, Live Christianly, Serve Effectively and Evangelize Consistently.

The NRB Station of the Year Award (Medium/Small Market) is presented to a radio station that is innovative, locally focused, and effectively impacts a market of less than 1.5 million in potential population through community service, promotions and marketing, outreach, ratings, and/or other means.
