Manassas, VA – WLMB-TV 40 will receive the prestigious NRB Station of the Year Award (Full Power) during the February 27th Television Reception at the NRB Convention & Exposition.
“By providing local pastors—as well as Spanish speaking Christians—a unique platform in the Toledo area, WLMB is granting the local church and their community a forum like no other,” said NRB President & CEO Dr. Frank Wright. “And their commitment to financial transparency respects their donors and honors the name of Christ before a watching and wary world.”
WLMB-TV 40 Toledo signed on the air on October 19, 1998. Since that time, WLMB has sought to provide Christ-centered television to uplift, unite, educate, challenge, and encourage their viewers in a manner consistent with the teachings of God’s Word.
The NRB Station of the Year Award (Full Power) is presented to a television station that displays innovative and creative programming through its daily schedule; demonstrates sound financial decisions; is a force for the Gospel in its coverage of local Christian events, issues and stories; demonstrates a commitment to produce local programming to meet the spiritual needs of people within the TV station's broadcast area; and works in partnership with local churches and ministries to provide a media platform for voices unable to be heard elsewhere.
