NRB Welcomes 7 New Members in Q2 of 2014

Manassas, VA– The National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) Executive Committee has voted to approve seven new full members in the second quarter of 2014.

“I heartily welcome these new members to our association of committed Christian broadcasters and communicators,” remarked NRB President & CEO Dr. Jerry A. Johnson. “We look forward to serving them and are encouraged by their commitment to our three-fold mission of advancing biblical truth, promoting media excellence, and defending free speech.”

Adding to that, Melissa Sturgis, NRB Director of Membership, said: “I am thrilled to welcome these fine individuals and organizations to the National Religious Broadcasters. Their specialties are diverse, but their hearts are the same: they want to serve God by serving people. The world is a better place for their efforts, and we are a better association because of their participation.”

Loupson Geffrard (Individual Member)
Loupson Geffrard is a Christian, Haitian broadcaster working at Good News Radio in Asbury Park, NJ. Good News Radio reaches all of Monmouth County in Spanish, English, French, and Creole. Loupson is also the Founder, President, and General Manager of Diapason Project, which is dedicated to teaching, training, and helping speakers and preachers to be more efficient in their ministry. Loupson speaks Haitian Creole, French, and English and graduated from the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences. To reach Loupson, email

Lenexa Baptist Church
Lenexa Baptist Church is located in the greater Kansas City area. Dr. Steve Dighton is the founding Pastor and has served at LBC for 25 years. Under Dr. Dighton’s leadership, the church has grown from fewer than 100 members to more than 5,000 members. Lenexa Baptist has five additional campuses in Kansas and Missouri as well as its main campus in Lenexa, KS. Lenexa Baptist is the church home of both Dick and Rich Bott of Bott Radio Network. Tom McCabe (Individual Professional Member)
In 2014, Tom McCabe, a 35-year veteran in direct response marketing and communications consulting, established a new firm, McCabePartners, LLC. Tom consults with ministry and conservative political organizations, sometimes in collaboration with full-service fundraising agency and NRB member organization Pursuant. Prior to McCabePartners, Tom co-founded KMA Direct Communications by merging his Washington, DC-based International Marketing Group (IMG) with Development Resources, Inc., of Dallas. Christian Aid Mission
Christian Aid Mission is an evangelical missionary organization that seeks to establish a witness for Christ in every tribe and nation by assisting indigenous ministries through prayer, advocacy, and financial support. Chelsea Bailey (Individual Member)
Chelsea Bailey, a former iNRB member and Bob Dobbs Essay Scholarship winner, graduated from North Greenville University in 2014 with a degree in broadcast media.  Chelsea is working as a freelancer and pursuing a career in Christian and family-friendly filmmaking. Pearson Family Ministries
Dave and Evelyn Pearson of Pearson Family Ministries have been creating, producing, and airing radio programs in the Chicago area for nine years as a husband-and-wife team. Their weekly program, Saturdays with Dave and Evelyn, broadcasts on AM 1160, WYLL.  Dave, a fifth-degree black belt, is the founder and lead instructor of Master’s Academy, a self-defense school that offers classes at area churches and home school programs. Young Believer’s Broadcast
Young Believer’s Broadcast (YBBtv) is “all about young people reaching young people for Jesus.” Young Believer’s Broadcast is produced in Columbus, TX, by the students of Texas Bible Institute. Every year, more than 100 students join this media track to learn, create, and expand the message of Jesus through different media avenues.
