NRB President & CEO Dr. Frank Wright Announces Intention to Step Down

Manassas, VA – NRB President & CEO Dr. Frank Wright has announced his intention to step down from the position he’s held for the past 10 years.

In a letter dated March 18 to NRB Board Chairman Richard P. Bott II, Dr. Wright said, “I have prayerfully concluded that my season of service at NRB is drawing to a close.”

“Accordingly, I do hereby resign my position as president and CEO of NRB, effective October 4, 2013,” he added.

Dr. Wright had been unanimously selected by the NRB Executive Committee as President after a yearlong national search process. He was installed as President during the NRB 2003 Convention & Exposition.

Since then, Dr. Wright has led NRB’s efforts to advance biblical truth; to promote media excellence; and to defend free speech.

“We appreciate Frank’s ten years of dedicated service and stellar performance as NRB’s President & CEO,” noted Bott. “We especially appreciate the top-notch team of dedicated professionals he has assembled to do the work of NRB, serve our membership and protect religious free speech on Capitol Hill.”

To begin the process of recruiting and vetting qualified candidates for the next President/CEO, NRB’s Chairman will be appointing a search committee from members of the NRB Board of Directors and Executive Committee.

“I trust that the Lord will bless us and guide our efforts, as He so clearly did ten years ago with the selection and acceptance of Dr. Frank Wright,” shared Bott.
