Manassas, VA–The National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) association has initiated a “Christians in Solidarity with Israel” trip, August 17-22.
Led by NRB President & CEO Dr. Jerry A. Johnson, a diverse group of Christian leaders will be visiting the land, the people, and the leadership of Israel to stand in support of the nation’s right to defend itself from those who would deny their right to exist.
“Countering rising anti-Semitism in the international press and on the streets, this friendship visit will communicate to Israel and to the Palestinians who stand in opposition to Hamas that we, leaders who represent the Christian community, stand with them. It will also show the world that Christians in general support the Jewish people and their right to security,” expressed Dr. Johnson.
“In addition, this visit should serve as an example to all followers of Jesus Christ, specifically encouraging them to pray for the peace of Jerusalem so that the lives of all those living in this region can be secure” he added. “We are thankful to the Israel Ministry of Tourism for coordinating this trip.”
Those who will be joining Dr. Johnson include Kay Arthur, Co-Founder, Precept Ministries; William A. Blount, President, Blount Communications Group, and Chairman, NRB Board of Directors; Richard P. Bott II, President & CEO, Bott Radio Network; Annette M. Garcia, President/GM, Son Broadcasting Co. Inc.; Richard Land, President, Southern Evangelical Seminary; Anne Graham Lotz, President, AnGeL Ministries; Katie Pavlich, News Editor/Fox News Contributor, Townhall.com/Townhall Magazine; Tony Perkins, President, Family Research Council; Jerry K.
