Manassas, VA– Speakers from social media giants Twitter, Facebook, and Google will take the stage at the NRB 2013 Convention & Exposition in Nashville, TN, during the Keynote Session on Monday, March 4, 2013.
The session will feature Claire Diaz-Ortiz from Twitter, Katie Harbath from Facebook, and Rob Saliterman from Google – each of whom lead important areas of their respective companies. Together, these three speakers will share new trends and tips for effective use of the various social media platforms to help Convention attendees leverage their reach.

Claire Diaz-Ortiz, Social Innovation Manager, Twitter
Claire Diaz-Ortiz leads social innovation at Twitter, where she has worked since 2009.
A frequent international speaker, Diaz-Ortiz is known for developing the “TWEET model” — a framework to help organizations and individuals best excel on Twitter. In 2011, she published Twitter for Good: Change the World One Tweet at a Time, in which she shares the same strategies she offered to organizations launching cause-based campaigns as Twitter’s head of corporate social innovation and philanthropy.
Called a “mover and shaker” by Mashable, Diaz-Ortiz has been widely written about in publications such as Business Week, The Washington Post, and The Independent. Diaz-Ortiz is also the co-founder of Hope Runs, a non-profit organization operating in AIDS orphanages in Kenya. She has lived on four continents and traveled to more than 50 countries.
Diaz-Ortiz holds an M.B.A. from Oxford University, where she was a Skoll Foundation Scholar for Social Entrepreneurship. She also holds a B.A. and an M.A. in Anthropology from Stanford University.
Katie Harbath, Manager for Policy, Facebook
Katie Harbath is a Manager for Policy at Facebook, where she focuses on political outreach.
Prior to Facebook, Harbath was the Chief Digital Strategist at the National Republican Senatorial Committee. She previously led digital strategy in positions at DCI Group, the Rudy Giuliani for President Campaign and the Republican National Committee.
In 2009, Harbath was named a Rising Star by Campaigns and Elections magazine. She holds a B.A. in Journalism and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Rob Saliterman, Senior Account Executive, Google
Rob Saliterman heads the Google advertising team’s sales and outreach efforts to Republican political campaigns, building relationships with campaign managers, digital agencies, and issue advocacy groups to drive adoption of online advertising.
He previously served as Communications Director to former President George W. Bush in Dallas, TX. He has also worked at the Republican National Committee and on the Bush-Cheney ’04 Presidential Campaign.
From 2008 to 2009, Saliterman was Spokesman for International Affairs at the U.S. Department of the Treasury and earlier served as Director of Rapid Response in the White House Office of Communications.
He is originally from Minnesota and received a B.A. from Columbia University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
