NRB 2011 ANNUAL MEDIA AWARDS OPEN FOR NOMINATIONS

 

Manassas, VA – NRB is accepting nominations for the National Religious Broadcasters 2010 Annual Media Awards. The nominating process is open until Friday, August 27th. Complete information on the general program and nominating process, including the online submission form, is available here.

Below is the timeline for the 2011 Annual Media Awards: 

07/23/10 Nominations open
08/27/10 Nominations close
09/17/10 Nominee entries due (if required)
09/24/10 Judges receive nominations and entry materials
11/30/10 Awards recipients notified
01/14/11 NRB begins publicizing Award recipients in NRB Today
02/16/11 NRB completes publicizing Award recipients in NRB Today
02/26/11 Media Awards presented at Industry Receptions
03/02/11 Special Service Awards presented at Closing Banquet

All media awards will be presented at NRB’s 68th Annual Convention & Exposition, February 26 – March 1, 2011, at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, TN.

NRB members are invited to nominate the individuals and organizations they believe best meet the awards criteria.  Self nominations are encouraged since they provide an opportunity to seek recognition for excellence demonstrated by your team. Both the nominee and the award nominator must be NRB members in good standing (unless otherwise noted). 

Awards are conferred in numerous categories, as follows:

• Milestone (50+ years continuous broadcasting)
• William Ward Ayer Distinguished Service

• Station of the Year (Major Market)
