Amazing Facts Ministries to Receive 2014 NRB Award for Best National
Television Commercial for Amazing Facts Bible Prophecy

 

Manassas, VA– Amazing Facts Ministries will receive the 2014 NRB Media Award for Best National Television Commercial for "Amazing Facts Bible Prophecy" on Tuesday, February 25, at the NRB 2014 International Christian Media Convention in Nashville, TN.  It will be accepted by Doug Batchelor, President of Amazing Facts and Host of Amazing Facts Presents on television.

The NRB Best National Television Commercial Award is presented each year to a commercial that does not exceed 30 seconds in length and commercially promotes a product, service, event, or organization. While the commercial content does not need to be evangelistic or of a discipling nature, the product, service, event, or organization that the commercial promotes shall be wholly consistent with the Christian worldview. The commercial should be creative and innovative, and its call to action should be memorable to its intended audience. The commercial should effectively engage the audience by using the television medium from artistic, technical, and communicative standpoints. The commercial shall be designed for an intended national audience encompassing one country, i.e., USA, Canada, or Mexico. The commercial must have been aired at least once on at least two local broadcast television stations within the yearlong period set by NRB.

Amazing Facts began in 1965 with a brilliant radio idea to attract listeners from all walks of life. Joe Crews, the ministry’s first speaker, opened each radio broadcast with an amazing fact and then followed with a related biblical message that everyone could understand. Since 1994, Doug Batchelor has continued sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ through worldwide radio, television, and internet broadcasts.  Amazing Facts programs - including Bible Answers Life and Everlasting Gospel can be seen and heard on more than 200 stations around the world, including Lifetime, WGN, ABC Family, BET, Sirius XM, and the Discovery Channel.
