Manassas, VA – KTLN will receive the prestigious NRB Full Power Station of the Year Award during the February 26th Television Reception at the NRB Convention & Exposition.
“KTLN provides San Francisco with creative and innovative programming focusing on the unique local needs of their community,” said NRB President & CEO Dr. Frank Wright, “and they accomplish this with only seven full-time (and one part-time) staff. Through their conservative spending and extensive cross-training, God has multiplied their resources to feed thousands spiritually.”
KTLN is a full power television station located in the San Francisco Bay Area, dedicated to Christian family television. KTLN’s mission is to communicate the Gospel message through local and national programming. Through talk and teaching formats, family entertainment and inspiration, this station, which serves all nine Bay Area counties, strives to creatively and effectively direct people to Christ.
The NRB Full Power Station of the Year Award is presented to a television station that displays innovative and creative programming through its daily schedule; demonstrates sound financial decisions; is a force for the Gospel in its coverage of local Christian events, issues and stories; demonstrates a commitment to produce local programming to meet the spiritual needs of people within the TV station's broadcast area; and works in partnership with local churches and ministries to provide a media platform for voices unable to be heard elsewhere.
