Manassas, VA – June Hunt will receive the prestigious NRB Board of Directors Award during the March 1st Banquet at the NRB Convention & Exposition.

“June Hunt is an extraordinary visionary who saw needs within the Body of Christ and sought to meet them through the Lord’s provision,” said NRB President & CEO Dr. Frank Wright. “Not only has she developed an extraordinary counseling ministry which has placed many on the path to healing, but she has also constructed The Hope Center as a home for multiple Christian ministries.”

Hope For The Heart Founder & CSO (Chief Servant Officer) June Hunt is a dynamic Christian leader whose life work has yielded landmark contributions in the field of Christian counseling. An author, singer, and speaker, she founded Hope For The Heart in 1986. Throughout the two decades since then, the organization has offered hope and help through biblically-based counsel and encouragement to people in 60 countries and 20 languages.

Built on a beautiful, nine-acre campus, The Hope Center serves to facilitate like-minded nonprofit ministries coming together to share resources and to participate in joint ministry ventures with the aim of more effectively furthering the cause of Christ all around the world. The Hope Center’s ultimate goal is to create a setting that promotes synergy, financial stewardship, and global expansion among Christian nonprofit organizations. The Hope Center’s spacious, retreat lodge and campus includes a chapel, worship center, conference center, atrium, Bible museum, cafe bookstore, broadcast studios, call center, health center, print shop and postal center for the tenants.

The NRB Board of Directors Award honors a Christian who demonstrates integrity, displays creativity and makes a significant impact on society. In recognition that broadcasting is not the only way to witness to the power of the Gospel, the award recipient may or may not be in the field of electronic communications.
