John Stonestreet, Dr. Thom Rainer to Address NRB Board of Directors at NRB 2014


Nashville, TN – Speaker, Fellow, and Host John Stonestreet from the Chuck Colson Center for Christian Worldview will share a devotional message at the annual meeting of the NRB Board of Directors on Saturday, February 22, in Nashville, TN.

Following the message, Dr. Thom S. Rainer, President and CEO of LifeWay Christian Resources, will give a presentation.

The Board meeting will be one of a wide range of events taking place during the NRB 2014 International Christian Media Convention, which will bring together thousands of Christian broadcasters and communicators from across the nation and around the world for four days of inspiration, innovation, and conversation.

“I look forward to hearing John and Dr. Rainer speak to our Board,” said NRB President & CEO Dr. Jerry A. Johnson. “John’s effectiveness in sharing biblical truths precedes him, and I believe Dr. Rainer, the evangelical author who has written the definitive text on Millennials, will inspire our Board to reach the current generation.”

Dr. Thom S. Rainer serves as President and CEO of LifeWay Christian Resources, a 5,000-employee organization headquartered in Nashville.

He is a graduate of the University of Alabama, where he received his degree in business administration. He received both the master of divinity and the Ph.D. degrees from Southern Seminary. Dr. Rainer has served as pastor of four churches.  He is also the former President of Rainer Group consulting. He served for 12 years as Dean at Southern Seminary.  Dr. Rainer has authored or co-authored 25 books.
