Manassas, VA – Haven Today will receive the prestigious NRB Program of the Year Award (Long Form) during the February 27th Radio Reception at the NRB Convention & Exposition.

“Since every Haven Today program is recorded no more than 48 hours in advance of airing, Charles Morris is able to discuss recent news of importance to the culture at large,” said NRB President & CEO Dr. Frank Wright.  “But more than just listening to current events, Haven Today listeners learn biblical application and how the Gospel is central to all aspects of their daily lives.”

Since its founding in 1934, and during all four of the program’s speakers, God used the ministry of Haven to bring thousands to faith in Christ. Now called Haven Today, with the program’s fourth speaker, Charles Morris, the daily broadcast airs on more than 600 stations in North America and around the world. Through the Anchor daily devotional guide, thousands more are encouraged each day to live their lives through Christ and for Christ.

The NRB Program of the Year Award (Long Form) is presented to a radio program at least five minutes in length that impacts the listener by being compelling, relevant, informative, personable, and entertaining, while demonstrating an authentic Christian faith.
