Dr. Jack Hayford to Receive Prestigious NRB Hall of Fame Award

Nashville, TN – Dr. Jack Hayford will receive the prestigious NRB Hall of Fame Award during the Awards Dinner on Tuesday, February 25, at the NRB 2014 International Christian Media Convention in Nashville, TN.

The National Religious Broadcasters Hall of Fame stands as a witness for current communicators, a showcase of warriors for Christ who live exemplary lives of valor and compassion, blazing trails and leaving paths for succeeding generations to follow. NRB's most prestigious award is presented to an individual NRB member for invaluable contribution to the field of Christian communications, exhibition of the highest standards and evidence of faithfulness in Christ. This year, Dr. Jack Hayford was selected to receive this award.

“It is a privilege and an honor to induct Dr. Hayford into NRB’s Hall of Fame,” said NRB President & CEO Dr. Jerry A. Johnson. “Dr. Hayford’s faithful commitment to advancing the Kingdom of God is a true inspiration!”

Jack Hayford serves as Chancellor of The King's University (formerly The King's College and Seminary) in Los Angeles, which he founded in 1997. From 2004 to 2009, he also served as President of The International Church of the Foursquare Gospel. He is probably best known, however, as "Pastor Jack," Founding Pastor of The Church On The Way in Van Nuys, CA, where he served as Senior Pastor for more than three decades. A prolific and best-selling writer, Pastor Hayford is the author (or co-author) of more than 100 books and has composed 600 hymns and choruses, including the internationally known and widely recorded "Majesty."
