Manassas, VA – Dr. Don Wilton, Senior Pastor of the First Baptist Church, Spartanburg, SC, and noted speaker and author, will address the NRB Board of Directors during their annual meeting at NRB 2011 to be held in Nashville, TN, on Saturday, February 26th.
NRB President & CEO Dr. Frank Wright noted, “We are looking forward with great anticipation to Don’s devotional message at the NRB Board meeting.”
In addition to serving as the Senior Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Spartanburg for the past 16 years, with a membership approaching 7,000, Dr. Wilton is also the President of The Encouraging Word, which televises his preaching and teaching of the Word of God across the United States.
Dr. Wilton’s message is hallmarked by his uncompromising presentation of the life-changing truth of God’s Word that points people to Jesus. He challenges and encourages people to become all that they can be for Christ, emphatic in his belief that “evangelism is incomplete until the evangelized become the evangelists.”
He is a frequent speaker for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) at the Billy Graham Training Center at The Cove, as well as the Billy Graham Schools of Evangelism.
Dr. Wilton is a distinguished Bible expositor, a frequent guest of various TV ministries and guest speaker and preacher at many Bible conferences, state conventions, seminaries and colleges across the nation. He has authored Am I Really Going to Heaven?, See You at the Finish Line, Totally Secure, When God Prayed and most recently, A Hope and a Future…Overcoming Discouragement.
