BGEA’s Mixed Media Campaign for PeaceWithGod.Net Wins NRB Award

Manassas, VAThe Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) will receive the 2013 NRB Media Award for the Best Television Mixed Media Campaign on Tuesday, March 5, at the NRB 2013 Convention & Exposition.

The Best Television Mixed Media Campaign Award is presented each year for a media campaign consisting of four to seven executions of a common theme. Including the base television example, the campaign may include expressing the message on multiple platforms such as social media, print, radio, interactive, web, applications and/or direct marketing executions of the theme. Use of the "Four Screens" – TV, computer, mobile and environmental – is highly encouraged. This year, the judges named BGEA the winner of the award for its mixed media campaign for PeaceWithGod.Net.

“Through its mixed media campaign, BGEA has directed countless individuals to PeaceWithGod.Net, where they can find answers to questions like ‘Who is God?’ and ‘What happens when I die?’” noted NRB President & CEO Dr. Frank Wright. “The ministry furthermore leads new believers through an online discipleship course, where they can learn the ‘next steps’ in developing a relationship with Jesus, and finding a local church. I praise God for how BGEA has utilized media to connect with ‘seekers’ locally, nationally, and internationally.”

PeaceWithGod.Net is an evangelistic website developed by BGEA’s “Search For Jesus” ministry, which uses innovative tools to introduce online “seekers” to Christ, transforming them into disciples, and connecting them with local church communities.

Since 2011, more than one million people have indicated that they prayed to make a decision for Christ through the site. This success has been largely credited to the strategic online and offline campaigns that are used to direct people to the site, with specific use of the “Four Screens,” as well as geo-targeted radio campaigns.
