BGEA TO RECEIVE NRB BEST TELEVISION MIXED MEDIA CAMPAIGN AWARD

Rock_the_Range.jpgManassas, VA – The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) will receive the prestigious NRB Best Television Mixed Media Campaign Award February 21st at the NRB 2012 Convention & Exposition for Rock the Range.

“BGEA successfully promoted the Rock the Range concert event through the Denver media and social media channels, and as a result 1,500 lost people accepted God’s gift of salvation,” said NRB President & CEO Dr. Frank Wright.  “Using all forms of media, in this country and abroad, they have been faithful to proclaim the Gospel so that all the world might hear.”

In August 2011, BGEA partnered with the local Denver church community to launch Rock the Range. This two-day evangelistic festival event drew a cumulative attendance of 28,200. Performing artists including Michael W. Smith, Skillet, and The Afters rocked the stage, and Franklin Graham presented the Gospel.  As a result, more than 1,500 people indicated that they made decisions for Christ. To promote Rock the Range, BGEA used multiple platforms that included website, video, radio, mobile, social media, print, and billboard marketing.

The Best Television Mixed Media Campaign must consist of four to seven executions of a common theme. Including the base television example, the campaign may include expressing the message on multiple platforms such as social media, print, radio, interactive, web, applications and/or direct marketing executions of the theme. Use of the "Four Screens" - TV, Computer, Mobile and Environmental - is highly encouraged.
