Kudos to The Supreme Court

(April 5, 2011) NRB applauds yesterday’s U.S. Supreme Court decision in Arizona Christian School Tuition Organization v. Winn. This pivotal 5-4 decision reversed a Ninth Circuit Court ruling and eliminates an “easy pass” given to radical secularists for the last 40 years to challenge church/state relations. In this particular case, that means that parents seeking to apply state tuition tax credits toward tuition for private religious schools won’t be bothered with “taxpayer” challenges to those school choice plans. This new ruling will also likely apply to a wide range of other church/state challenges.

NRB Warns: Here Comes New Media Censorship

(March 23, 2011) Yesterday, NRB expressed its sincere hope that Apple Inc. would choose free religious speech over political pressure and retain the Exodus International iTunes app. During the night, Apple apparently chose censorship, yet again. Previously, Apple banned the Manhattan Declaration app for its Biblical view of marriage.

The App Wars: Will Apple Bow or Will Free Speech Prevail?

(March 22, 2011) Manassas, VA – The NRB John Milton Project for Religious Free Speech is cataloging the current assault on Apple Inc. for approving and offering a free app by Exodus International. The app provides news, podcasts, and social media opportunities to individuals and families impacted by homosexuality. Last year Apple approved, offered, and then pulled the Manhattan Declaration app in a deliberate act of censorship of the religious speech and thought held by mainstream evangelical Christians in America.

In the Beginning…God

(March 1, 2011) “When you violate God’s laws, you plunder the very purpose for which you live,” said world renowned apologist Ravi Zacharias in last night’s General Session. And how do we ultimately reach the world? By keeping the Word of God central. “If we compromise there, we will…humanize God and deify man so that we can hardly tell the difference,” Ravi reminded us, telling attendees that we can only impact individuals around us if we present a Gospel that’s heard, seen, and actually felt. It was a message that challenged, inspired, and convicted.
