Open Letter from Dr. Frank Wright

To my friends and colleagues in the NRB,

After many months of prayer, reflection, and counsel, this week I notified the NRB Board of Directors and its Executive Committee of my intention to step down as President and CEO, effective October 4, 2013.

I made this decision with gratitude to God and a heart full of thankfulness for the distinct honor that has been mine these last ten years to serve the world's preeminent association of Christian communicators.

Ruth and I have counted this as a special season in our lives.  We have felt our time in your service to be fruitful and fulfilling, yet we now have a clear sense that the Lord is leading us to another area of service.  

While the NRB faces many significant challenges in our day, I am fully persuaded that a season of even greater ministry effectiveness lies ahead.  It is for us only to remain faithful to Him who loved us and loosed us from our sins in His own precious blood.

Please accept my sincere thanks for the privilege of leading this wonderful association.  I have counted every year in the service of NRB as a great blessing.  By the grace of God, I hope to keep close connections for many years to come.
