WFRN Nominated for 6 Indiana Broadcasters Association Spectrum Awards

WFRNWFRN in Elkhart, IN, has received six nominations for the Indiana Broadcasters Association Spectrum Awards.

The Spectrum Awards recognizes broadcast excellence for outstanding achievement in broadcasting by Indiana radio and television stations. The competition is established to encourage the highest standards of reporting, community service and production creativity.

On Saturday, November 10, the Indiana Broadcasters Association will award 63 first place Spectrum Awards and two “Service to Indiana Awards” at the 25th Annual Spectrum Awards Show at the Marriott Hotel in Indianapolis.

Last year, WFRN won a Spectrum Award in the Promotional Market Campaign category.

This year, WFRN has been nominated in the following categories: Breaking News Story, Humorous Commercial, Best On-Air Promotional Announcement (two nominations), and Best Promotional Campaign (two nominations).

In total, the Indiana Broadcasters Association received 403 entries for this year’s awards competition.
