The Truth Network Welcomes New Program: Life, Love & Family

Truth Network logoThe Truth Network is welcoming the new daily radio program Life, Love & Family to its lineup.

Launched in January 2013, the 30-minute program is hosted by Dr. Tim Clinton, President of the nearly 50,000-member American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), the largest and most diverse Christian counseling association in the world. The program airs daily to a growing number of over 200 stations nationally, including American Family Radio. The heart of the program is anchored in engaging, educating, encouraging, and equipping families in today's culture, based on the eternal truths found in God's Word ... on every continent, in every nation, every day.

"We're delighted to air Life, Love and Family in prime time on all our stations," commented Stu Epperson, Jr., President of The Truth Network, who called the program "a breath of fresh air for our listeners."

"Dr. Tim Clinton gets it," added Epperson, who also serves on the NRB Board of Directors. "He's real, he's relevant and he genuinely connects with guests and listeners alike. This program is not just about information ... it's about transformation! Life, Love, and Family is a superbly produced program aimed point blank at what our culture so desperately needs: cutting edge topics that take us to the feet of the Savior."

Just six months after its first broadcast, Life, Love & Family is steadily growing and expanding its reach, filling a gap in today's culture by providing biblically sound encouragement and uncompromisingly Christian perspectives on marriage and family issues. In collaboration with The Truth Network, the program began airing last week in six new cities across the country:

  • WLES in Richmond, VA, airing at 1:30 p.m. daily
  • WDRU in Raleigh-Durham, NC, airing at 1:30 p.m. daily
  • WTRU in Winston-Salem/Greensboro, NC, airing at 1:30 p.m. daily
  • WCRU in Charlotte, NC, airing at 1:30 p.m. daily
  • KUTR in Salt Lake City, UT, airing at 2:30 p.m. daily
  • KTIA in Des Moines, IA, airing at 10:30 a.m. daily

According to the program's producers, Dr. Clinton is deeply concerned about the prevalent and relevant issues in America and the way they are affecting and infecting individuals, homes and families.

"He has a heart to equip today's families by preserving biblical values in marriage and parenting, protecting the sanctity of marriage and restoring broken relationships, promoting the role of strong families that can transform today's culture, and providing biblically-based and culturally-relevant resources, insights, and inspiration," the producers relate.

In addition to his position at AACC, Dr. Clinton is Professor of Counseling and Pastoral Care, and Executive Director of the Center for Counseling and Family Studies at Liberty University. He has also authored 20 books, including his latest, Breakthrough.
