Star 99-1 Introduces New General Manager

Scott Taylor 99.1New York radio veteran Scott Taylor has been appointed as the new General Manager of WAWZ/Star 99-1.

Taylor, who has been involved in radio in the New York area since 1979, joined WAWZ in 1994 as host of The Morning Show.  He was promoted to Program Director in February 2000, then to Station Manager in September 2003. 

In addition to his current responsibilities at WAWZ/Star 99-1, Taylor, a lifelong resident of New Jersey and active in his church and community, currently serves on the Executive Board of the New Jersey Broadcasters Association. 

WAWZ/STAR 99.1 is a service of NRB Member Pillar of Fire, a not-for-profit organization serving families in the New York/New Jersey/Pennsylvania area for over 80 years. The station was named “Radio Station of the Year” by NRB in 2007 and 2008.
