Recruitment Underway for “My Hope with Billy Graham” Campaign

My Hope PosterThe Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) has launched a massive new effort to reach people across the United States and Canada with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Combining the reach and excitement of a nationwide media event with the power of personal relationships, “My Hope with Billy Graham” aims to recruit Christians across the United States and Canada who will open their homes to share the Gospel message with friends, family, colleagues, and neighbors, using different media programs featuring Billy Graham, dynamic music, and testimonies.

While the idea of the average American community, for some, might include white picket fences, manicured lawns, and two cars in the garage, the real America is not so picturesque.  If you live in the typical community – with 100 average neighbors – here’s the reality:

  • 14 feel crippled or trapped by fear and anxiety,
  • 8 are struggling with the loss of a job,
  • 7 are struggling with depression – even contemplating suicide,
  • 7 abuse or are addicted to drugs or alcohol,
  • 3 are grieving the death of a loved one,
  • and – most importantly – 60 don’t profess to know Jesus Christ as their Savior.

“My Hope with Billy Graham” is a strategic way for Christians throughout all of North America to do something about the disintegration of our neighborhoods and our homes and families. You can help spread the word about this important campaign, which will culminate in November 2013.

More information can be found at myhopewithbillygraham.org. Use your media tools to spread the word! Get involved and impact your neighborhood for Christ!  Official training for the campaign is set to begin January 2013.
