Pre-Register for the NRB Business Meeting at NRB 2013!

Register to voteIf you are planning to attend the NRB 2013 Convention & Exposition and are an NRB Member, make time to come to Governor’s Ballroom A for the NRB Business Meeting on Saturday, March 2, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

Doing so will put you on the inside track for:

  • The vote for Officers of the NRB Executive Committee, as well as the Board of Directors Class of 2016 (if you are a full member in good standing).
  • Reports from NRB Board Chairman Rich Bott and NRB President & CEO Dr. Frank Wright.
  • Important updates from NRB’s Senior Vice President & General Counsel, Craig Parshall, regarding current/future legal issues that may affect Christian broadcasters.
  • The latest news from NRB Vice President of Government Relations Aaron Mercer regarding NRB’s work in Washington, DC.
  • An update on the FCC, given by Joseph C. Chautin III, Esq., from Hardy, Carey, Chautin & Balkin, LLP.
  • Reports from the Standing Committee Chairs.
  • An open forum for bringing up new business that will be sent to the Board of Directors for consideration.

If you plan to attend the Business Meeting and/or have staff who wish to attend, please make sure you have contacted Judy Stephens, NRB Member Service Assistant, at jstephens@nrb.org or 703-331-4510 to pre-register for voting.

Voters who are pre-registered avoid potentially long lines at the Annual Business Meeting. Pre-registration also ensures that we will have enough materials and ballots on hand. Your organization’s dues must be current in order to be eligible to vote and designated voters must be present at the Business Meeting to receive their ballot package. Proxy votes are not accepted. The number of votes allowed for each full member organization is determined by Article VI – Voting Constituency – of the NRB Constitution and Bylaws.
