NRB: 76 Members Added in 2013

NRB New MembersThe National Religious Broadcasters grew significantly last year as a total of 76 members were added to the association – more than double the number that was added in 2012.

“I am thrilled that this fine group of professionals has joined the National Religious Broadcasters,” commented NRB Director of Membership Melissa Sturgis. “I know they’ll enjoy the many benefits of NRB membership, and all of us here at NRB will certainly enjoy supporting their success.”

NRB’s membership is an exciting blend of all forms of electronic mass media: radio and television stations, program producers, film companies, worship technologies, media arts, music-only broadcasting, Internet communications, emerging technologies, and affiliated media-related agencies and groups that support Christian broadcasters and communicators. The association embraces and continues to grow with developing media that enable greater access for the Gospel.

In joining the world’s pre-eminent association of Christian communicators, the new members are now connected to a wellspring of professional education, training, networking, and support. NRB members enjoy a wide variety of benefits, including, for example, significant discounts for full company members on Convention registration, advertising, and sponsorships. They also have the opportunity to vote for NRB leadership and serve in leadership positions; to attend exclusive special events, like the Members-Only Reception with Authors and Artists at Convention; and to publicize their news in NRB Today, the association’s weekly e-newsletter. What's more, NRB members have the opportunity to network with people who share their Gospel-guided hearts and support their goals and dreams.

Their membership also supports and strengthens the voice of NRB on issues regarding access to electronic media platforms and our freedom to proclaim the Gospel. One of the core purposes of NRB is to protect access to the world’s electronic and digital media, ensuring that the Gospel goes out unimpeded to reach the four corners of the earth.

To apply for membership, click here for an Associate Member Application or click here for a Full Member Application. You can also request to receive an application by email or via regular mail. The online version must be printed before you fill it out and send it back to us, because an original signature is required.

Membership to NRB is not automatic. Once the application is submitted, it is reviewed for completeness and then is forwarded to the Membership Committee and then on to the Executive Committee for a decision. This process typically takes approximately four to six weeks.

As the preeminent international association of Christian media professionals, NRB exists to serve its members so that through them millions will hear, believe, and follow Jesus.
