March for Marriage
The morning of March 26, Americans standing up for marriage will rally on the National Mall and march toward the Supreme Court, just as the Justices prepare to hear two major marriage-defining cases. Under scrutiny are challenges to the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), signed into law in 1996 by President Bill Clinton, and to California’s 2008 popularly-approved Proposition 8, which upheld marriage as the union between a man and a woman.
The National Organization for Marriage has allied with a number of pro-family organizations to organize this march and to line up numerous speakers for the rally. Learn more at www.marriagemarch.org.
