K-LOVE Holds Inaugural Fan Awards Show

KLOVE-Fan Award logoK-LOVE held its inaugural fan-voted award show at Nashville's historic Ryman Auditorium on Saturday, June 1, welcoming more than two dozen performers onto the Ryman stage.

The show, part of The Ultimate Fan Experience, held May 31-June 2 in Nashville, was touted as the first-ever fan-voted award show in Christian music history.

Winners on Saturday night included Chris Tomlin (Male Artist of the Year), Kari Jobe (Female Artist of the Year), Casting Crowns (Group/Duo of the Year), and For King & Country (Breakthrough Artist of the Year).

Also recognized were Christian sports figures, movies, and books.

Nominees were determined by K-LOVE with consideration given to airplay, spins, impact, and overall performance. Winners, however, were solely determined by fan vote online.
