In Response to Newtown Tragedy, Broadcasters Offer Resources for Christian Radio

Memorial CandlesSince the horrific shooting in Connecticut last week, there has been an outpouring of prayers, support, and help from across the nation and around the world.

“I join with many others in praying for the people in Newtown, CT – the children, the families, responders. Our world needs Jesus,” expressed Dr. Ron Harris, NRB’s Senior Vice President for Strategic Partnerships, on the day of the shooting.

“We know that funerals will be held throughout the week for those whose lives were taken,” added the staff at Back to the Bible earlier this week, “so please continue to lift up the families and the community as they seek comfort, answers, and peace.”

For Christian radio broadcasters looking for encouraging words to share with their listeners, Ambassador Advertising has assembled a number of resources ranging from PSAs and commentaries to materials for children.

Resources include commentaries and PSAs from Brad Mattes, Wayne Pederson, Franklin Graham, John MacArthur, Nancy Leigh DeMoss, and Vonette Bright, among others.

More information on the resources can be found here.
