HCJB Calls for Urgent Prayer for Norma Pederson

Norma and Wayne PedersonThe HCJB Global family is asking the wider NRB community to pray for their President, Wayne Pederson, and his wife, Norma.

On May 31, HCJB Global announced that Norma Pederson was diagnosed with advanced cancer and had several tumors removed in surgery the day before.

On Monday, Norma was discharged from the hospital and has since been recovering at home. She will begin a regimen of chemotherapy to eradicate any remaining cancer.

According to HCJB, Wayne and Norma remain optimistic.

"We've been blessed for many years with good heath, but now we're on a new journey," said Wayne.  "We know that God is always faithful, and He is intimately involved in this trial."

The HCJB leader has cleared his travel schedule for the next few months to be with Norma during her treatment, but plans to retain his role as President.

"I am surrounded by an incredible group of people who will help me maintain leadership responsibilities," noted Wayne.  "We are so blessed to know that whatever difficulties we face, God is still in control of our lives and our ministry."

Regular updates on Norma's progress will be available at www.HCJB.org/PrayForNorma
