Does Your Newsletter Stack Up?

NewletterThe NonProfit Times has shared some insightful advice on communication trends for non-profit e-newsletters. Borrowing from “Nonprofit Management 101,” a book by non-profit marketing author Kivi Leroux Miller, it says that non-profit groups commonly make the mistake of only looking backward in publication content rather than being forward-thinking. Other suggestions are to increase frequency of distribution but with fewer words in each issue, to focus on personality factors affecting readers, to increase specific action-oriented impact, and to integrate thoughtful planning with less improvisation.
